2nd Annual Doggie Street Festival - February 28, 2010

Please join me at the 2nd Annual Doggie Street Festival to be held on February 28 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Liberty Station in Point Loma. One of my pet portraits (see below) will be auctioned to benefit this worthy cause. More importantly, the festival will "shine the spotlight brightly onto responsible pet adoption options, education and information on decreasing pet-overpopulation and insight into pet care, health and well being."

More about the event:

This annual county-wide pet celebration hosts free of charge, breed specific rescue groups and shelters with their adoptable dogs. Don't miss the fun, entertainment, good eats, valuable pet information, products, services, special guests and much, much more!!! You might even find your new best furry friend.

Hope to see you there!

Rusty, the Rat Terrier

Rat Terrier's are immensely-devoted balls of energy. Rusty is no exception. His naturally-erect ears give him a look of intelligent alertness. Rat Terriers are sometimes confused with Jack Russell Terriers, although they have different temperaments, more refined profiles, and always have short coats, i.e., they are never wire coated.

Rusty enjoys dashing about his yard but is equally happy when he's curled up in a loved-one's lap. But, he's at his best when getting lots of mental stimulation, exercise, and a large dose of doting. Luckily for Rusty and his owners, there is an abundance of reciprocal doting.
